At TMG we advise our clients on the best names available for their organisations or business. It is important to have a domain name that is easily remembered. Long domain names are often off-putting for potential visitors. Sometimes it is also beneficial to have keywords that you want found under your domain.
If you are doing business primarily in Ireland or you want to be recognised immediately as an Irish company or organisation than we recommend registering an Irish domain name or .ie domain.
If you are to register an Irish domain them than you have to show some right to the name, be it through a registered business, charity or other organisation.
TMG have an account with the Companies Registrations Office (CRO) and can register Irish business names on behalf of our clients, which enable them to register the corresponding Irish domain name. We charge €75 to register a business name with the CRO.
We charge €65 for an Irish Domain and €20 for all others per year.
